getting original driver/firmware for duosense screen of hp tx2 notebook

Recently I have purchased an hp tx2 notebook. Actually it came with lots of demo stuffs so I drained the hard drive, and installed the 32-bit windows 7 beta. I installed the ntrig duosense drivers with new firmware, but I lost the pen support. Then I tried going for the pen support by installing the vista back but the screen got affected and doesn’t work correctly because of the new firmware. The pen support doesn’t work because of the firmware. Well I want to know that from where I can get the copy of original drivers for the duosense screen?

Well let me tell you that I also have faced the same problem before. I couldn’t do anything and I was very upset with it. Then one day I decided to give my notebook to the hp people. I had contacted ntrig and hp and the only answer I had got was that, I should bring my notebook to them for the service. I want to know is there any driver released for the same.

If you want to download the new driver then I think you should go through the official website. You can get the drivers from there. Just visit the official website, select the product and the operating system. Depending upon the operating system and the model number you can choose the driver and download it to the internet. After downloading just install it. After installation completes then reboot the system.

Have you used the HP Restore CDs since you said that you formatted the drive? I hope you created HP Recovery CD set before you installed the windows 7 beta. Do you know that the ntrig duosense screen doesn't require a special driver; it is automatically installed by the windows. I think reinstalling windows or recovering my system using a recovery partition or with disc won’t do anything to the firmware. They don’t support multi touch functionality

Well I would ask you to reinstall or log into windows 7 then install ntrig software along with the firmware. I think ntrig comes up with 64 bit drivers for win7 soon then we can just dual boot and everything will function fine. I think hp should know about the issue and release the firmware as early as possible.
