How to navigate without trackball

I used this Crackberry Smartphone in the last two weeks. Now the trackball has been fell out and hence I need to know if I can even use my phone for the next week without my trackball. Is there a way to scroll through the list of icons without using this trackball? I hope many users will actually do this kind of task then please suggest your own experience related to this issue.
