First of all I will suggest you to check whether you are getting this problem with your USB stick only or you are getting this issue with other USB device also. First connect any other USB device with your Nokia E7 and after that check whether your mobile phone is recognizing it or not? If your mobile recognize that device then I t means there is nothing wrong with your mobile phone but problem is with your USB device which you are trying to connect with your mobile phone and I think you should first format that device completely and after that check whether you are able to connect it or not.

Many times this type of issue can take place because of the using the faulty cable with your mobile phone. You have to first check that the micro USB cable which you are using to connect your USB cable with your mobile phone is working properly or not. Try to connect your USB device with any other cable and after that check what the result is. Same thing happen with me also and after that came to know that USB cable is causing this issue and I replaced the USB cable and problem get solved.

If you are still facing the USB issue with your Nokia E7 mobile phone even after trying all the possible ideas and if your micro USB cable is working properly then I think there might be problem with your mobile phone and I think you can solve this issue by doing the factory reset in your mobile phone. You have to make sure that you have take the back up of all your data before doing the mobile reset in your mobile phone. After resetting the mobile you will be able to use the USB device with your Nokia E7.

Well I will recommend you to first download the Nokia software updater from its official website and after that you have to install it in your computer or you can also download the Nokia OVI suite in your computer and after that install it. Now after doing that you have to connect your mobile phone with your computer and then do the mobile software update in your computer and then check whether your problem get solved or not.

If you are facing the same problem with other USB device also and after doing the restore factory setting also problem doesn’t get solved then i think there might be something wrong with your mobile USB port and according to me you should give your mobile phone to the Nokia service center and there you will get the proper service for this issue. if your mobile is in the warranty period then you will get all the service for free.
