Would a Bluetooth a module from m1730 fit into M11x ?

I think I have a capability question here, I just do not know where to place is thread hence I ended up placing this thread in to a portable section and so please forgive me if I have placed this in wrong section, well mine question so simple and I us want to know if I could the same module ( blue tooth module for an M1739 , which I have , in the M11x module that I am planning to buy , so I think that this is not possible for me to do that .

I think that is not possible as there capability and the comp ability of this matter s a lot form the question that you have asked, so I think that you showed first check the hardware compabuilty and then check the software or the wiring capability of the same,as there are many things that might not work once you have this working on it , , just check the physical dimension of it , if they are same they might work.

The solution given by the above user, might be on the basis that as both of them are dell models and support almost the same hardware it is quite possible that it is can be used, but it no way tell us that it is possible, I think it would not be good for it , I would rather suggest you to check the specification of both of the laptop so that you can get the module that are used in it , it is quite possible that they might just be using the same module .

Yeah, he is right, most of the time the company uses the same software and the hardware as they cannot afford to built a new module for every module that is released so I guess that would be better, then to reuse it for different product and there might be chance that the product at you are using has the same module , so just check that out ,I hope that this it is , but also remember to check the comp ability with the chip that you are using it is quite possible that you have processor or a motherboard that is not supporting it .

Hey, I have just checked the compability of the product that I have used, it say that it has a module 2.1 which is off course he version of the module and they are same, while I got something other than this said that dell 1730 had a module name 355 while the other had the model of 370 which are both different from each other any help on what was that , the first said that it did while the other said it did not ,

Well that is pretty simple thing that was there, a simple answer to your query is no, I have been using this and I need to say that they are not compatible with each other, although alien ware is a sub-product of dell, it has a whole different set of hardware specification that they use, and these specification are limited to alien ware itself, but I think that it is not all possible to do that, I have been a having a same problem here and I needed to buy a new one to support it .

Hey , ththank for the replies that you guys gave me , I was not expecting such accurate answer I wonder how would you guys found out the exact module number , while you still don ‘t have it , or do you have it , because I would not be able to use that with this one , I would further looking forward to use this as I have some extra cash in my pocket and would surely try out this ,
