Cellular Service Disconnects After Gingerbread Update in Motorola Droid X

Last week, I updated my phone to 2.3.3. And after the update, which took place without any problem, the cellular (3G) connection is lost and failing to connect the next time. My only solution has been to power down / up the phone. I tried to force the phone input / output mode plane in the hope that such action could force the start of 3G for animals, but no luck. Please help me to resolve the problem.

I've noticed this happens while I run off the WiFi coverage. While I'm on WiFi, the phone off 3G data, which is normal. When I go to WiFi, the phone just occasionally forgets turning 3G data all over again. A reboot looks to resolve the difficulty - until the next time they pierce and leave an area Wi-Fi. Come to think of it, I've also seen this happen after a phone call. It appears to be at any time the 3G data service is turned off and must be returned in this problem arises.

I had the similar problem from gingerbread. Occasionally, the phone is loses each connectivity to Verizon - despite showing full service bars. It will not show either 1X or 3G icon, which is not connected to the information (email, text messages, etc), and any attempt to make a call. The only thing that solves the problem (temporarily) is to restart the phone. This is a very serious mistake and I hope that Motorola is solved as soon as possible.

I see this as something to do with the data and battery saving options. Are in arrears to the problems of obtaining maximum data driven, and keep the network connection, use juice defender beta, and seems to cause problems, while the widgets can be a bit difficult as they have points access that can just turn off the data connection with the defense of juice, if you come from GB, and is used to restore the option for the defender of juice. Do not delete all the data s (application management) and rebuild your preferences.

Periodically I lose all the data coverage. It appears most frequently in the morning when I leave my house (and my local WiFi network), but has spent a couple of times when I was away from home and away from a WiFi connection. I'm getting the chance to restart. This update looks great at first, but a mobile phone that is not reliably stay connected to cellular / data network and periodically goes off operation is not a Smartphone. This is starting to remind me of the last software update. I wonder how many months we will have to wait for Verizon to push a solution to this.

I switched to airplane mode and then back and reconnect the phone. Tonight I left the house to pick up my wife at the train station. While waiting, I realized I had my wifi turned on and connected to a wifi network is provided by a local cable television. Being a little bored while waiting, I ran the speed test. There is no result since I am not a subscriber - it is not surprising. I turned off the wifi and the phone will not connect to 3G. I went to airplane mode and before I could shut down, restart the phone.

This problem can plague of 100% of users Droid X, but I have three personal friends who all have a DroidX and 3 of them have this exact problem. One and switched to an iPhone because I was so tired of the lack of support from Motorola and Verizon worthwhile for her to pay $ 600 to have a working cell phone. I consider this a very controlled test, and I'm not using the applications of non-action and I'm not using anything other than the Verizon provided data voice network. Hopefully, somehow, as paying customers are affected, we can increase awareness of this problem is not simply "user created" and provide a resolution.
