Motorola droid X restarts while making calls

I am having the Motorola droid X and that is very nice phone overall but there is some problem with the phone while making calls. Actually whenever I try to make any outgoing call from my phone then it get restarted automatically. There is no problem while sending SMS or doing any other thing. I cannot understand that what is the problem with that and how can this be resolved. If anyone of you can give me any solution to get out of this then I will really appreciate that.

It might be some problem with the battery that it is losing the connection in-between and so it is getting restarted. All you can do is just check your phone with some other battery which is in good condition and see if that is doing the same for you. If it resolves the problem after changing the battery then this will make sure that the problem is with the battery and changing the battery will be the only option for you after that.

If the firmware in the phone is corrupted then also you might get the problem like this. So if none of the solution is working for you then you can try to do the update of the firmware. I am saying you this because when I was getting somewhat similar problem with my Nokia E63 then I did the same and it resolves the problem for me. I don’t know the procedure to do that for Motorola but you can search for this on internet and you will get the answer for this.

Is your phone under warranty? I am asking this because if the phone is under warranty then you will not have to do anything with your phone to resolve the problem. Just contact the dealer from where you bought this. If they help you then this is ok but if they failed to solve your problem then you can directly contact the manufactures and they will definitely solve the problem without any extra cost as this is under warranty.

I really believe it will be so great if the updates can be installed as follows. Initially get the update service and download this, visit the Motorola website. You can have this downloaded on your phone and then you go to install it. You can have the update service installed by double click the installation file. After this connect your phone to the system via the USB cable and run the Update Service. Go through the instructions on the screen.

It appears that you have to have some of the applications installed by you and therefore you may be receiving the error. So best you can do to restore your cell phone. Here is one of how to get this done. First, to press the power button for two seconds and options to get there is necessary to choose the Shut Down option. Then press the left and right buttons below the screen. Now holding down the left and right have to press and release the button. Finally, follow the instructions on the screen and see if the restart options can really solve the problems they are having there.

Have you ever made any adjustment to the phone, because this type of minor problems were also resolved through that and you can start with the soft reset, this will reset all the settings with the phone, but I guess this does not help more, you can also try resetting the phone, but by making this you'll lose all data on the phone, I mean deleted data from your phone, so that you may have the option of take backup of all important data you have.
