cant able to install Nokia C7 IM version1.0.1

Hi, I was using nokia c7 from past long days few days back I had install a beta version of a chat application and everything was working good. Now I had found a new version of that software and from nokia ovi store I try to download it I was unable to install the version which give an installation error but when I check the widget list it’s there in the list. Does anyone know what may be the cause of this problem? Please guide me.

According to the information provided by you I had tried the same with the update which was from day one. After using it for few days I had uninstall the application and as you had mention that after uninstalling it the widget is there in the list well that happen with me too and when I’m trying to install on it the installation is getting failed again and again as the widget is not getting UN install. So you should search for how to UN install the widget and your problem are solved.

Even I was having the same issue regarding the chat application. Is anyone having the same issue regarding this? I was having the problem with the social widget. For that I had install notifications support package of an ovi and after that my problem do not persist. If you are having the problem with the widget then you should try this as I it will definitely going to help you a lot. If you still face the problem then try to delete the registry entry hope this will help you.

I’m trying to install the nokia chat application from ovi store on my nokia N8 I try to install it after it get downloaded but it fails to install and gives up an error in installation. Older version was working smoothly but whenever I connect it to the ovi store it ask for update so I had done it and reinstall the application but it gives an error. I just miss everything with the chat application. Does anyone know the solution for it?

Even I was having the same issue regarding this when I was using the ovi store from mobile. To solve the problem try to search and download the Installer after installing the latest version without any error and then install the IM when it is done successfully you will be reminded to update your software from mobile ovi store you just need to ignore it and wait till the nokia launch a new version of the ovi store and that may fix your problem.

It’s a worse. I was using the nokia c7 but I made a mistake I had update it when it ask me to update from ovi store. My problem is that the installation always stop when it try to install the widget and it automatically get restart I tried to uninstall the chat application but it is not getting uninstall. May be this problem was not being faced after the new version of a chat application. Hope nokia release it as soon as possible.
