how to change old account on Iphone appstore?

I just switch to my new mail account last month and wanted to replace my replace my old account with the new one on my iphone appstore as I was no longer using my old mail account as I tried to add my new mail account replacing my old account on my iphone appstore but even after changing the mail id associated with my iTunes account, Itunes and the iPhone app store used to sign in with my old username by default I tried everything to get rid of my old account but nothing worked well I even tried to sign out of itunes and login with my new account and resync but it again brought me to my old account I am not even able to sync my iphone as of this! Any suggestion regarding this issue!

As per your problem stated by you it seems that you are not able to work out well on your iphone, so I would like to help you out from your problem Try to login to appstore from your computer with adding new account username, after adding new account sync your iphone with itunes this will add the new account as the default account on the app store and itunes store on your iphone hope this works out and solve your problem. Are you accessing your old mail account if not than you can deactivate that account that will automatically remove that account from your login account as it will show invalid mail account as you would be able to add your new account and login through your new account, add this new account and sync your iphone through your computer and set this account as your default account on both appstore and itunes store.

I appreciate your kind replies I tried sync my iphone after adding my new account with itunes and app store but it didn’t work I even tried deactivating my old mail account so that I can add the new one but even after deactivating it I was not able to add my new account on my itunes and appstore it just showed invalid account but was not able to login with my new account, I could not make out what’s wrong with my account!

Did you try de-authorizing your computer with the old itunes store account? And then authorize your computer adding new itunes store account and then sync from itunes store with the new Apple account you can check about authorization and de-authorization at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1420 restart your iphone and check WiFi Store or App store and see if the account has got erased or updated. Now reset your network settings and restart your iphone this would now allow you to add new account now.
