How to change the payee name of my account?

Actually I want to change my payee name of my ad sense account. The company name and the email address, postal address and phone number will remain the same. I tried to contact to Google they replied me that I have submit a new application for that. Actually they are saying that I have to close my current Google account and then I have to fill the form again for the new account. This process looks tedious to me. Is there any simple process for changing my payee name only?

You can keep your bank account in the old name. Pay the check and then transfer the amount to the new account. If it is not convenient for you then you ask Google to open the new account before closing the old one.

Thanks for your reply but I want to delete the previous account due to tax reasons so if I transfer the amount I have to pay the same amount of tax or may be more than that. I want to get rid of this opening and closing the account that’s why I have I asked the question. If possible give a better solution for that.

I don’t think you have contact the right person in Google, because Google provides a facility through which you can the payee name of your Ad sense account. You have to follow these simple steps.
1. Sign in to your account.
2. Visit your My Account tab.
3. In the Payee Information section, click edit payee name.
4. Review the important notes about payee name changes, accept the terms, and continue.
5. Enter your desired payee name and save your changes.
6. Your payee name change will take effect for the next possible payment cycle
