HP G62 laptop overheating and after that hangs

I have a few problems with HP G62 laptop. The system works well, but sometime it turns off on its own after overheating. I am not able to find the answer for this. It was working quiet fine, but from last couple of days this problem started appearing. The system just shutoff on its own. I am unable to process anything here. I hope there is no major issue. What should I do. Does formatting will fix the problem.

Looks the fan inside has stopped working. This system have a tiny fan to draw out heat from the processor. If that is stopped or if there is too much dust inside then you face such problem. You have to clean the system to make it work. If the system is under warranty then just carry it to the service center. But if not then you can go ahead with opening the same. But take care. It is better to call a technician.

Reboot your pc and go in bios. There you have to go inside pc health. Find the current cpu temperature. If it is high then just check the fan rpm. If everything here is normal them it is the battery problem. Your system is not heating your battery is gone. You have to get a new one. The battery is available on web. Just get one and test it. This will be enough to fix the problem.
