How to transfer files from PC to EVO?

Guys I am having HTC EVO 4G android phone, and this is the first time using Android system so I don’t have much idea about this handset, And my query is related to file transfer from my PC to the EVO. I want to transfer some pictures from my PC and only the pictures of those persons whose contact is in my phone contact list. And the handbook says to transfer to the “removable disks root file”. And there is bookmarks, footprints, Amazon3, LOST.DIR, Qik and Android in my removable file. I don’t know which is my root file? And is there any alternate way to transfer the pictures?

I will suggest you to use doubletwist air sync, which is an application for the Android handsets. Using this you can get your iTunes playlists, videos and photos on your Android handsets. You can download it from the Android market on your handset and download the same software on your PC and then click on “Airsync” to upgrade. And you just have to follow the instruction to get synchronized with the PC and then you can move the required files.

Well dude doubletwist air sync is very useful and very advanced application, you can useit for many other purposes too but you just want to transfer the pictures and for that easiest way will be, first connect your handset to the PC and connect it as disk drive. And the filed you will need is in DCIM. And then select the files which you want to transfer and put them in a folder on the desktop then just drag that folder to the DCIM folder on your phone.

Well yes that is easiest way to transfer or to move the pictures you want to transfer to your handset, and you can also create a phone folder on the PC and after that connect your phone to the PC then just drag and drop from that the folder to the folder in the phones folder. So you don’t have to save or look pictures one by one so it will more convenient to drag and drop a picture one by one. I follow the same procedure to transfer the file.

Hello guys first of all I want thank all of you to taking concern on my query, As I don’t know much about these stuffs, I wouldn’t be able to do all this on my own. I know it was very simple but for a newbie to all this technology it’s not that easy. I tried both the thing using doubletwist and the other given solution, but I liked the second solution which very simple way and the doubletwist is very useful whenever I want access the audio from my PC. Thank you,
