How to transfer PDF files from Mac pc to Ipod

As the title of this post suggests, I would like to know how to transfer files which are in pdf format from my computer to iPod. I am running Mac OS X Snow Leopard on this computer. I know I can carry my laptop with me and transferring files to a laptop is very easy but I don't want to carry my laptop. This is not possible for me to have a laptop while on move. This is the reason why I want the file on my iPod. Can you suggest me some ways how can I transfer my pdf files to iPod?

You can definitely transfer your pdf files on to your Mac computer and that's very easy. Just connect your iPod with your Mac computer. Go to /Applications/iTunes. Locate the iPod in the left pane in itunes and perform the necessary steps with iTunes to show your iPod on the desktop. Now simply drag and drop keeping the size smaller than the place left on the iPod.

Yes you can transfer your pdf files from the mac computer to the Ipod , but it requires your special attention. First of all install the same version of the Itunes which you are running on your Mac computer in order to sync the Ipod with your Mac. Once you have the same version of Itunes installed on both of the devices, activate the Itunes. Once done, connect the Itunes to the iPod. Now you will notice that all the files which you are having on your Mac computer has been populated in the ltunes and have been transferred to iPod. Firstly, you must update your iTunes to version 10 and have iBooks 1.1 atleast. Secondly, reading a PDF file on iPod is not at all easy. You will not able to read words or sentences effectively. So it is better to convert your pdf file to EPUB format which improves your readability. You can use some free conversion software which can convert your PDF to EPUB. Once you have completed the conversion, you will not only notice that your text is adjusted according to the screen, but also you will see that the file is compatible with iTunes and iBooks.
