    Dell Inspiron 15R reboots automatically

I'm using the Dell Inspiron 15R. I am having the Windows 7 Home Premium installed on it. This was functioning well for a few days but last night when I was trying to turn on the laptop and pressed start button then I found that fans started spinning and after that it just stopped. There was no display at all on the screen. I tried to do that many of the times but all the times it comes up with the same result. I don’t know why but I think that it is the problem because of the virus attack on the computer. Please tell me that that how I can resolve this problem. I will be thankful for all the helpful replies. Please reply as early as possible because I have to make my college project and I can’t do that without the laptop.

It could be your BIOS that is causing the problem on your computer to start. If your BIOS is out of date then you also get the error like this. You should try to update the BIOS of your system. I am saying this because I have seen many cases like in the old-fashioned BIOS becomes the reason for it. So try this and I wish this will solve the problem for you.

It might be due to poor power supply by PSU. The computer is not receiving adequate power supply and therefore is not properly initialized. My suggestion to you is to try a new PSU and see if it is the solution of the problem for you or not. If you're buying a new power supplier then I'd suggest you to buy the one with 100 or more wattage. And that will not show you the problem with that. This is the only suggestion that I can give you at the time.

I think that you are right. It may be the problem with the viruses in your system. Do you have installed any of the antiviruses in your system? If not, then you have to do it now. Install a good antivirus in your system and scan the entire system with it. Before scanning, you must make sure you are using an antivirus which is updated virus definitions. Clear or delete all infected files from your system. Before taking that, you should confirm that this should not be the file of operating system. If the issue is with the viruses then this will resolve it for sure.

As you told that you are having the Windows 7 installed in your computer and if you are getting any problem like this then there is possibility that the operating system is corrupted and that is making that glitch in the system. You can try to repair the computer and see if that is able to take out the problem. If that fails to do that then there is only one option left for you and that is to do the clean install of the operating system again. But make sure that this is your last option and you have already tried all the other possible solutions for this.

First thing that need to be checked in the cases like this is that if the laptop is under warranty period or not. If that is under warranty then you need not to do anything to resolve the issue. Just go to the dealer from where you bought it and ask them for the issue. If they help you then this is good and if you feel that they are not cooperative then you can directly contact to the manufacturer and I am sure that your problem will be resolved there.
