You should try to run Sony recovery center into safe mode. Well to enter into safe mode you have to perform the following steps. You have to restart your laptop. Press F8 continuously till the windows Advanced Options are not displayed. Select the Safe mode by using arrow keys and press enter. Now your laptop will boot into safe mode. Now you can try to use Sony recovery center to recover from this problem.

I think you to do some experience work to diagnose root of the problem. You must be careful during conducting below mention experiments. You have to remove hard drive from your laptop. You have to place this hard disk at slave in to your computer. Now you have to use diagnostic tool which you can download from the official website of the manufacturer. Download this tool and install it in your computer. Launch the program and select desired hard drive. It will notify if it has any problem with the hard drive. Please try it and let me know.

If the diagnostic tools are unable to help you then you can do the following steps. You have to create Hiren bootable dos disk. To download it you can visit official website of the Hiren. You have to .iso file of Hiren into CD. Boot Hiren from the CD as usually you do for the Windows disk. You will find options on the screen. You have to boot mini windows. Now it will boot Windows XP from the CD using RAM. Using this step you will find whether there is problem with machine or not. If it works properly restart your computer and load the dos menu in to your computer. Now you can use hard disk testing tools to diagnose the problem.

I was also having the same problem with my laptop. In my case it was happening due to loose connection between laptop socket and the hard drive. So make sure that hard disk is secure and place correctly in to your laptop. If it has loosely connected then connect it properly and then try to run your laptop. I hope it will fix your problem and please tell me whether it worked for you or not? All the best.

I hope manufacturer warranty of the laptop is not expired. If you are having the warranty then you can contact to the nearest service center to claim warranty. Make sure that your laptop has not gone under any physical damage since physical damage makes void the manufacturer warranty. Please tell them about your problem. Most probable they will replace your old laptop with the new one.
