iPad infrequently hangs and turn off in between of operation

My 32GB+3G has this unusual habit of turning off totally at arbitrary moments. Whenever I try to select a button and it doesn't concern which one, or be writing an email then the screen goes black. I press the power key as well as it opens back up to the startup display, and I resumes by entering my password. At this position it returns to the previous task/screen. It occurs 2 or 3 times for each hour of utilize but I cannot duplicate it on reminder. Any thought what is phenomenon? I'm not knocking the power key unintentionally either. I'm puzzled. So anyone have any suggestions then please reply me on this post. Help will be appreciated.

I think that the casing or cover that is close to the sleep button? Perhaps it's somewhat stirring the button. And hence you are facing this situation. If that is not the case, you can attempt to reset or restore your whole iPad from the scratch. To reorganize, go to Settings, common, then there you will notice a Reset control button, then press on to the Reset button. No data will be misplaced, but your icons may be reorganizing. Also, some settings will require creating it again. To restore whole data inside the computer you may try to do this in itunes on your PC or to a laptop with the ipad connected by USB. It will completely reinstate the operating system with a new copy inside the iPad.

I think you should restore the latest version of updater 7 Itunes 4.6 becasue I have the identical problem. It seems to be either my PC or some trouble with the hard drive in the iPad. Would a windows checkdisk find fault on the hard drive. It appears to work and if there are no statements of terrible sectors. The iPad will update 300 songs previous to hanging up. Then try to do a restart then it will start up and it will carry on updating automatically then your problem may be gone.
