    Which UPS battery to use

Hello friends, I stay in an area where there are constants power cut, so I cannot completely depend on the electricity to able to finish my work and also keep all my data completely saved because there is no surety when the light will go off. So I would want a good UPS so that all my data are saved even when the light goes off at any instant. Please provide some quick suggestion as I don't want my data to get lost for the third consecutive time.

According to me Intex 600VA UPS would be a great battery to use as it has a long battery life as compared to the other battery. Also, it is very reliable as it has the tendency to provide emergency power to a load when the input power source, as soon as the mains power supply fails. This will help you not to loose any data even when the power supply are lost. Although they are costly they have 3 years of warranty so you dont have to worry about anything for the next three years.

Hey you can also go for the Intex Platinum 600VA Ups as it is very cheap and also very small in size as compared to others so you can easily take the UPS any where you want. Although the reduction of the price and the size has really not affected the performance of the battery in any way. It can still stand for about 3 hours without charging. So if you are looking for something very light in weight that can be easily movable then you can go for this PSU.

Hey why don you use the Standby Times Backup Ups, since it provides almost ten hours standby and you can also run various applications together at one single time. Using this battery you can watch TV for 2 - 4 hours, also can a refrigerator connected along with your computer. This according to me are developed keeping in mind the needs of a large house or a small firms that needs some or the other equipment to run regularly. The only concern is that this is little bit costly as compared to others.

Hey I would want to know that can be keep the USP in some standby mode or something like such that the battery remains unused when I am not at home. many times it is happened that I am out of my house for 2-3 days and if unexpectedly the light goes then my USP will take the effect and it will loose all its energy. The next day I come if the still the power is not there then I cannot do any thing because the USP is also not charged, so is there any option available for making the battery safe its power when we want.

Re: Which UPS battery to use

Yes we can able to make the USP behave the way as we want that is if we want the battery to remain offline even when the power goes off. Since this UPS is directly connected to the main power supply and if any time the USP sees that there is dip in the incoming power it automatically starts its internal DC-AC inverter voltages. SO in order to make the USP not to automatically switch the internal power by itself when it sees any drops in the main voltage then we can keep the USP in the offline or the standby mode. This will not allow the USP to start giving its own voltage even when the original power supply is lost.
