Want to Buy laptop- is sony vaio good?

Guys, I want to buy one laptop for me in December. I am wondering that which one will be good for me. One of my friends suggested me to go for sony vaio VPCEA36FG/B and I am also thinking to buy the same. I want to know that how is this laptop in terms of the performance and stability? I have heard that this is creating the problems like overheating. Is this right? I going to use this laptop for at least next 5 years so I want the one that can provide me the a good service. Thank you.

I don’t have any doubt in that laptop. If I say about my choice then I will always prefer the Sony brand. They are vest in their quality and customer support. Don’t think much and go for that and you will not have any problem with that. You can give click here and this will redirect you to the Sony web site and from there you will be able to find the variety of VAIO laptops. You can select from that.

I am not agreeing with Antonio. I have used the VAIO here are the list of issues that I found in that.

1. I am not able to click the D drive from the explorer.
2. It takes a long time to boot.
3. If I try to change the volume control previous to it has totally booted it open the volume control 32 times
4. Screen is unfastened from day 1 when I bought this.
5. I reported this to Sony support and they told that they cannot help because it was an outdated model.

I don’t think that the problem listed by Ceesar in point 1 and 3 are not a computer problem they are concerned with the computer software that you are using. If you want to buy a computer then the software does not matter to decide the one. You should only see the hardware configuration. We can change, remove or upgrade the software but the important part is the hardware.

I am also using the SONY Vaio laptop and l love it. This is one of their slim models and you will find that this is very light. I am suing this from last 4 years and not got any problem with it. Even if we talk about the battery then it is able to hold a full charge. So don’t wonder much and just buy it.

As of my knowledge to Sony laptops, I can say that they are having good laptops with good compatibility. It is also good with the linux distros and if you get a bad model then you will through that because support is non-existent. There is only one problem in few sony laptops that they refuse the power on. The only solution for this is to leave it as it is for the day. I hope that they will solve the issue soon.

There is one more common problem with the Sony laptop that I have seen in many of the laptops that the screen is badly or I can say loosely fixed with the hinges. This makes the screen to move backward and forward by itself. This may be because of the screws that are used to fit the hinges or may me there is lack of the screws that it holds. This is one of the major fault by then so when you go to buy this then you should check for this carefully.
