Apple ipod having Session problems

I have just got a new iPod and I need to synchronize the device with all the portable devices and also with the system that I am using in my home. Also i wanted to change the software of my phone from the current phone to the Software 4.1. Please give me the following solution for this problem. I gave a grave sync issue and need to fix this problem as soon as possible, please give the solution for this problem as soon as possible. Thank You

The following steps can followed if the Session of the Apple ipod is running out of time-out, this step is performed for the resetting the syn history that is found in the ipod options.
