The following steps can followed if the Session of the Apple ipod is running out of time-out, this step is performed for the resetting the syn history that is found in the ipod options. You have to go to the Edit, in the preference part where you will get the device option in that you get the reset syn history. By the reset option the whole setting of the ipod is being changed and you session will work properly without any problems.

You can then check out the security software settings in the apple support option where you will get the trouble shooting options. The trouble shooting option can be used for the required problems that are being faced by the ipod. If the security settings are not proper you got to change the settings as per the requirements and then try out the sessions are working or not, this should solve all your problems and also provide a solution for the run-time session problems.

If the above steps are not working for you then you can perform a network connectivity test that will require the network adapter information which has got the adapter name, description, IP addresses, Subnet mask, Default gate way and the DHCP options should be enabled yes. Then after that you have do the Driver test that will enhance and check all the drivers are working properly or not and the last is the device sync test this should solve the issue of yours.

The other options is that you have to see whether the Software of the ipod is being upgraded from the previous software to the software 4.1. The software 4.1 has less connectivity as far as the 4.0 software is concerned. Then try to connect to the itunes store by switching of the windows firewall this will help you to see whether the similar problems are being faced by the ipod if your attempting to use the network connection. This can also show that when did the network timed out in your ipod.
