iTunes 10 fail to remember podcast playback position after Mac restart

I have downloaded iTune 10. My problem is that, it do not remember playback position of podcasts. It just remembers that they are played and not finished. Everything was fine till I was using the iTunes but when I installed the iTune 10 then I ‘found that it totally forgets the playback position when I turn the MAC off. They are not getting lost of I close and start the app again. I ‘dont find any other app that is affected. Only problem is with the iTunes 10. Please help me if you have any suggestion for this.

The simplest solution for this is, If you are getting any problem with the iTune 10 update and you are not able to find the proper solution for this then you have to revert back to the iTune 9 as you told that it was running fine. I think that this will be the best option for you but only if you are not getting any solution for this.

There may be problem with the iTune setup that you have downloaded and installed. According to me you should download the setup again and try to install that again this will recreate the files in the system for the iTune. Remember that you have to do a fresh install of iTune 10. I was also facing some problem with me iTune 10 and to solve that I did a fresh installation of that as I told and now I do not have any problem with that. You should also give it a try. Good Luck.

It can be the problem because of the antivirus attack on your system. Do you have the antivirus program install on your system or not? If you have not installed that then install it on your computer and make sure that the database for virus definition is up to date. Scan the entire system with that and if you find any file that is corrupted then clean that file or you can also delete that if that is no longer needed to you.

You can try this to solve the problem for you. First of all go to your audio work. Right click on that and select the "Get Info." from there. Now click on the tab for option. There you have to search for the "Remember Position." In my case the box which was there at the right was marked yes and the box which was there on the right was not checked. I checked that box also and clicked on OK button. It worked for be but it was the earlier version therefore I cannot say it surely that it will work for the upgrades. You can try it and see whether it works or not. Good Luck!!!
