Totally disappointed with Blackberry Storm

My uncle gifted me the new Blackberry Storm mobile phone. I have used it for one month and started to face lots of problem on it. when I press the screen then the small watch is seen and it get lock up constantly and sometime I have to face the unnecessary error messages due to which I have to switch off the phone and then remove the battery and again replace it. It GPS feature is also not working properly for which again I have to switch off the mobile and start again. So I need to know the proper solution by which I could be able to fix my problem with the software's of my mobile phone.
