Acer Aspire 6935G - Speaker problem

Last month I bought the Acer Aspire 6935G. I am very much satisfied with the laptop but it has one problem which is very frustrating to me. The issue is with the sound or we can say speaker. Many of the time I get the distorted sound from the computer. I can here this sound anytime during listening music or during browsing the files. Even the sound click gets distorted. Is this a driver problem. Please help me with your suggestions.

Yes you are right. This is the nothing but the driver problem. It may have corrupted. You should uninstall the driver for audio and reinstall that again and see whether it works or not? If it does not work then you should download the latest driver from internet for your model and install that. Reboot your system after installation and I am quite sure that it will solve the problem. It was useful in my case.

There may be problem with your operating system. If you are having the issue with the Vista then you can switch the operating system to Windows XP or Windows 7. But make sure that you have tried all the possible solutions for this and if none of them worked then make this your last option. I did this when I was getting the issue and now I have solved this problem. Now I am using Windows 7 which is running without any problem.

As you told that you bought it last month therefore I am sure that it is under the warranty period. You should take it back to the dealer and see what can he help you and if he is not able to help you then you can send it back to the manufacturer. They will replace the model with a new one or they will fix that without any charge give it back to you. This will be safest and the best option for you.

It may be a BIOS problem. You should restore the default setting for the BIOS and save and exit the BIOS setting. After that reboot the system and see for the result. If it does not help then you can flash the latest bios. One of my friend was also having the similar problem and after flashing with the latest bios the issue solved and he was able to listen clear audio from the speaker.

The internal subwoofer may be causing the problem to the audio of the laptop. To fix this you have to go to playback settings and by using the slider turn it off. If you don’t want to turn it off then you can slow down it a little to make the audio clear. Click on the speaker icon on the start bar and select the playback devices and it will open the window to do that. There you have to select the speaker and click and configure that.
