Acer extensa 5235 black screen of death

I am using an acer extensa 5235 which creating a problem when i am stating laptop and when i switch the power button a green light appears and the fans start running after which for a while hard drive also start to boot. but the display of the machine does not appear i.e. the black screen of death. can the problem be solved by myself or do i have to concern to some experts. how can it be fixed?

You can check if the problem is because of your RAM just remove RAM from your machine unplug from the slot and clean it and try to place it back to its original place properly or you can go for trying another slot if want. also ensure the RAM is not damage or crash by checking it. it can also we because of bad RAM that you are facing the problem as "no display" problem. this can help you to fix the problem.
