Black Screen of Death on Nintendo 3DS

I am planning to buy a new Nintendo 3DS as I have heard a lot of good things about it. But now all that excitement of buying a new Nintendo 3DS has vanished because of a new issue. This is called Black Screen of Death. I got to know that there is some tension over this Black Screen of Death. Now I am worried a bit about this and I am not sure whether to do ahead with it or not. So if any one has any suggestions or solutions then do reply to this immediately.

Yes what you are listening to is correct. There is news about the Black Screen of Death on Nintendo 3DS.Also I have heard ample reasons for this issue. Among that the common reasons for this are due to the SD card. Or some people are saying that this might be due to the 3D itself or it can be due to certain games. But certainly yes, this is causing a lot of issue with many users of Nintendo 3DS.I would suggest you to adopt the wait and watch policy which would be beneficial to you.

Even I heard about this issue quite a lot and considering that this is really a big issue even I have haled my plans to get a new Nintendo 3DS.But if you remember that when WII launched for the first time it also started in some shaky manner. But now it is known to be one of the most reliable systems available. So taking this into consideration we all need to back the Nintendo 3DS and go ahead with it. Also I don't know of any system that came close to the reliability of the original DS up to the DSiXL.

I completely agree with what you are saying. Also I doubt that Nintendo will lose their reputation so easily and me as well as many other people think that this problem can and will be fixed sooner than later through the means of a firmware update. But I am sure that they will be working on this issue to fix it as immediately as possible. There are many people in the queue like us who are waiting to buy a new Nintendo 3DS.Also I feel that currently there is no solution present to solve this issue.

According to me already the firmware is updated or it is a result of region locking. Also sometimes I feel that it has something to do with the hardware. Also I am not very sure about the parts in which this has released because there can be a possibility that this can be regional problem. But in jest I would say that I wouldn't be much worried about it too much. Or in case if you go ahead and buy a new one then you'll have to exchange it for a different one. And I am very much sure that Nintendo will get a new one immediately.

Thanks a lot for your replies. I just went through your solutions and feel that the wait and watch method would be a right policy to adopt. I guess that there is no point in hurrying the things. Even I am confident that Nintendo will look out for the solutions on this sooner rather than later. But I wish that they just solve this fix immediately so that many of us can then but this gaming console. So I would once again like to thank you all for all your replies as they have helped me to clear my mind a lot.
