Home screen lost when in Nokia N97

i have a Nokia N97 mobile phone and the problem that I am facing is with the homescreen of the same. I do not know but one day all of a sudden when i restarted my phone the home screen is no more. I do not know what could have happened? Please do help me out so that I can make the desired change and function for the thing whcih will help me out in order to get sort of the thing.
