The only advice I can give you is that you need to visit any local Apple service center and tell them about the situation they will fix that shift key for you. Once F9 key on my key board broken and it was not working. I have just showed my MacBook to the service center they have just replaced the key within a span of minutes. Apple provides good service for their products. You do not need to worry about this problem, just visit the service center and your problem will be solved.

There are two options; either send your $ 2K machine to apple store for the replace of key or you can personally visit the apple store and they will replace key in minutes. Apple store provides the best services and they will do the replacement in few minutes. I am using apple products for more than five years and they can be trusted.

My right hand keys just came out tonight just, after only day’s use. I know that Apple service center can fix this problem for me. But I was thinking that if I can fix this thing by myself then it can save my trip to store. I am trying to this because service center of Apple is far away from my home. If you can provide any help related to this, then I will really thankful. I will be waiting for your reply.

Well if is having a little hinge at the bottom that is looking like X then you have to press the key as it placed on the keyboard. You can also check out the key replacement guide that is available on net. Once my right arrow key came out, but I fixed it by myself, I faced some problems while doing this but the whole thing is completed within the span of fifteen minutes.

You do not need to worry about this; Another shift key is provided on your keyboard, you can use that if you want, but I will not suggest you to fix the keys by yourself. The reason for this is that if try to fix this in a wrong way then there are chances that it may damage your keyboard. Hence it will be better if you give this thing to apple store for the replacement or fixing of the key.

You can get this thing to work but doing this is a little bit tricky, since the parts are very small and intricate. The thing is that the white part that is holding the keys are very delicate and can be fixed or placed in a specific way. It is normal that the key came out, they are not broken, and they are just unhinged from their place. For fixing this you have to remove that completely and then place it again. If you can provide a picture of the key board then I can guide you in a better way.
