Nexus One get shut down automatically

Its been 4 months that i have bought a HTC Nexus One and it was working without any problem. I have seen that people faces many problem in their nexus one but there was no problem at all with my one. Just yesterday i experienced big problem in my phone as when i was on call, My phone automatically got disconnected and restarted with the logo. Does anybody have seen this kind of behavior on their Nexus 1?

Yes, I have seen the same behavior on my nexus one but i do not found anything wrong yet. It has been happened several time (may be 4 or 5 times) on my phone. There lot of nexus one users who are facing this annoying feature on their phone but yet i have not seen any solution for this on any forum. Now i am posting the same problem here as well, Hope i will get somebody here soon.

I think you have installed some third party program on your phone which might be causing for this problem. Actually some of an application interrupts in your calling and finally it makes your phone restarting without any reason. I suggest you to uninstall all the third party application and use your phone for some day without those application and check whether it happens again or not. Then keep on installing one application per day so that you can confirm that which application is causing this issue.

Random restarts in the phone are getting bigger and bigger issue for the nexus one but the HTC have not yet found anything for solving this problem. I am a mobile engineer and i have seen the Nexus One from the inside have found nothing wrong which makes it restarting after even a longer call. Hope somebody can give a better reason by which this amazing phone gets restarted automatically.

This seems to be the firmware issue as the firmware for the HTC nexus one has been made by the google but i guess they have mistaken somewhere while coding it. Or it might happen that they have made firmware perfect but some application would be would be interfering with it which results in the restart.

This could be happening because of some kind of virus on your phone. Actually you must have installed some third party application or some file which might be having some malicious content. And whenever that malicious file would be running, May be while calling function then it might happen that your phone directly gets switched off due to some kind of disturbance.

If your phone would be containing any kind of viruses or an infected files then i guess you just need to install an anti virus software for your phone and then you just have to scan each and every corner of your phone. If there would be anything malicious then remove it and then check whether your phone still gets shut down or not. If so then i guess you need to give an engineer check of your phone.
