Most problem involving failed shutdown method relate to a series service or driver folder. Here is a Clean Boot article that you may exercise to troubleshoot the problem. Here is the procedure is mentioned below. Try using this procedure and then performing the shutdown process and then observe if it occurs in a clean boot state
To carry out a clean boot on a computer that is running Windows Vista, follow these steps.
    1. Select the Start button , type msconfig in the Run box, and then hit ENTER.
    2. If you are provoked for an administrator password or for verification, type your password, or select the Continue button then you will see the configuration window.
    3. There you will find out the General tab, click on the Selective Startup.
    4. Beneath that Selective Startup, select to remove the Load Startup Items check box by un checking on it.
    5. Select the Services tab, click to choose the Hide All MS examine check box, and then click unable All.
    6. Select the OK button.

Now I switch pc on fine. But troubles like windows explorer files don’t restore and cant able to uninstall or install software which I needed. I also can’t perform windows updates through control panel. Any assistance for this matter will be thankful or how to run and fix this issue. I m attempted a windows repair option by booting and also started the last recognized fine configuration. But that also did not give me any success so any one help will be grateful.

The windows repair is not an alternative for uninstalling or installing the software. Windows repair is done whenever any windows files or any dll files is missing so I suggest you not to repair your system unless you have this sort of problem. My concern is you are not able to uninstall the software directly by going through c: drive. There is another alternative to uninstall the program form the drive. Go to add or remove program through control panel and select that icon and select add or remove option from the list then you will observe the many program which are already install inside in your pc. So select the particular programs which want to remove and wait for the time until the system that the un installation process is completed. Otherwise it will hang your system again.
