N900 processing at the speed of 900 MHz

I have just OCed my Nokia N900 at the speed of 900 MHz and it is working much faster compared to the previous speed.
I have noticed the following things after increasing the processing speed to 900 MHz.
    1. The scrolling of contacts, messaging, phone list, and web pages has become smoother.
    2. Faster rendering of web pages is achieved.
    3. Smoother scrolling is achieved between the desktops.
    4. There is much faster rendering while tapping the contacts, email, calendar, and conversation icons.
In short, over this entire unit is much faster.

According to me this is definitely a do at your own risk thing. If you have the knowledge of how to flash then you have to just download the flash and use the 3.5 flasher. After that, you just have to wait for couple of days for seeing how the things turn around. Just keep one thing in mind that we are not having a bunch of bricks out here.

Yes, this is flash, you have to install it at this location “c:/program files/maemo/flasher-3.5” after that you just have to use this text in the flasher: flasher-3.5 -k zImage-900mhz -f –R. Be careful about one thing if you do not have the knowledge how to use flash then I will suggest not to try this and realize that anyone who is doing this is able to brick your phone.
Purposely I have left one-step because if you do not have understanding how to do it then they can ruin their unit by accident.

You have done a nice job. I am not an antipathy to your concept of overclocking. I have been doing overclocking on every computer system I have assembled.
I have just one doubt that this Nokia N900 is capable of 600 MHz, and it clocks down to about 200 MHz when it is idle for saving the CPU. If you are overclocking to 900Mhz will it be clock down and if it is clocking down then it clock down to what?

I just want to give a little warning about the overclocking in Nokia N900. I have heard that this phone downclocks 200 Mhz from 600 Mhz for the simple reason that the thermal design is not capable of running this phone at 600 Mhz all the time. I just want to make sure that those who are smart enough to over clock this phone have the idea about it.
