Satellite M305-S4848 Screen Flickering White

I have found some crazy white lines moving up and downs on my Toshiba Satellite M305-S4848 laptop's screen. This lines are not showing continuously but it just comes randomly and then it gets cleared automatically. I have found that it mostly comes while playing the games. I am not able to explain my problem i guess as these lined comes for just seconds but it totally blurs the display screen and my game goes in wrong directions.

I have found it on many forums that this flickering problem occurs due to the grounding of your monitor. I would like to ask you that you are facing this problem only when your laptop is connected to an adapter or it is there on battery usage as well. Because it might happen that there could be something wrong with your adapter because of which this flickering is happening on your laptop.

I think you have installed a video driver properly on your laptop which is leading in the flickering of your laptop's screen. I was having the same problem which was gone by installing the new copy of video drivers for my HP laptop which has windows vista installed on it. Though it is a different thing that this problem has started suddenly so i just do not get that how can driver can go wrong after some days of installing. Actually the older driver which i was using was okay for some days then this flickering issue cam up. Anyways you may try to solve your problem by installing the video driver.

I have tried by installing the latest video driver for my Toshiba laptop on which i have installed a windows 7 operating system. It was showing the same kind of white line flickering on the screen. I have tried to solve this issue by installing the latest drivers but it is just not getting off from my screen. It keep on coming after some random amount of time. It comes only for few seconds but the screen and my eyes both goes off when it comes. I have tired by working on this laptop now. Please help me!!!

If you have tried to get rid of white flickering lines by all the possible solutions then it might happen that the screen of your laptop itself has some faults. I suggest you to give a check for your laptop to the manufacturer or you may give it to the dealer from where you have bought it as if it is still under warranty period. I think that this flickering issue can be waved off by some simple solutions but if it is not getting solved then there will be definitely something wrong with your laptop's screen.
