Downloading and installing games and applications on Zune HD

I have recently purchased a Zune HD. As I am new to it, I do not know how to use it. Because of this I am unfamiliar about downloading and installing games and applications on Zune HD. Tried looking for this on the web too, but I got no help. I cannot understand the manual too. I need information on its download and installation and some suggestion on how I should do it.

Do the following steps for downloading and installing games and applications on Zune HD:

1. The Zune HD has to be first connected to the computer fo this purpose.
2. Select on Marketplace, Apps.
3. There you can choose the application or game that you need to install.
4. Then, go to Collection, Apps, where you have to drag the applications and games for the Zune HD to synchronize them.
5. Inorder to access the downloaded games and applications, the game or application has to be tapped on the home screen.

For downloading and installing games and applications on Zune HD, you will need the following 2 softwares that you will have to install in Windows XP or Windows Vista:

1. VISUAL C# EXPRESS EDITION
2. XNA GAME STUDIO 3.0 (COMMUNITY TECH PREVIEW)

These have to be installed on the computer in the given sequence and they will guide you when you connect your Zune HD onto the system.

I dont understand why people buy Zune HD and then, search for methods on the web for downloading and installing games and applications on Zune HD. It is a Microsoft based portable and it should have given some built-in games and applications so that the users of Zune HD will not have to search additionally for the games or applications. I guess that they are in the process of working this method out.

I suppose that you must have bought the Zune HD from an authorized dealer. He must have provided you the manual then. There is a section for help with "download" and another with "installation" for all types of games and applications. You should check the manual properly. I hope that the manual should hopefully solve your problem about downloading and installing games and applications on Zune HD.

I suggest use to buy some other portable in exchange of Zune HD, since there are better complements and alternatives available in the market. They have many in-built games and applications. So, you do not have to worry about downloading and installing games and applications on Zune HD. I recommend you to avoid Microsoft products. I use an Apple and suggest you to buy the same.
