iTouch will not show up in My Computer

Hi,
I have this problem from last night. Due to lot of data, Last night I tried to synchronize with itunes but my computer doesn't recognize my ipod. Before last night it was worked very well. I don't know what happened to my ipod. Please help me to get rid out of this problem.

First try to put ipod in Recovery mode. Just try the following steps to get rid out of this problem.
First Restart your computer -> now open itunes application -> now plug your ipod to itunes -> now press sleep/wake button and Home button for small time -> now release sleep/wake button without releasing home button -> now you will hear some sound -> it is sound of recovery mode, means itunes tell you that iPod touch in recovery mode -> now wait for few seconds until computer recognize your ipod.

I think there is some hardware related issue. As per your information it seems that your USB cable may be get damaged. Try to connect it with another computer, in that computer if you also have the same problem then there is some problem in your USB wire. Replace it with another USbB.

As per your information it seems that there is some driver related issue in your computer. You have to install new drivers of ipod touch. If you don't have any CD to install ipod's drivers then download them from apple store. After downloading them, install it properly. After this restart your computer. Now try to connect your ipod it with itunes if you still have the same problem then you have to contact apple store to fix this problem.
