iTunes No Longer Launches Automatically When iPhone Plugs In

    Hi,

I have a problem with my iPhone iTunes, it no longer starts automatically when plugged in. I just stopped doing it after talking to AppleCare for my work MobileMe (my computer is old so it uses. Mac but AppleCare is loading for some of the settings changed around). Anyway, when I plug in my iPhone, iPhoto launches, but to get my phone to make a backup, I have to open iTunes manually before both iTunes and iPhoto opens automatically. What should be the problem ???

If you have iPhoto automatically launch when ready to connect a digital camera, which will launch automatically when the iPhone is connected only when there are photos on the camera roll on your iPhone. In order to iTunes to automatically launch when the iPhone or iPod when connected everything, iTunes Helper should be available as a login item in System Preferences> Accounts on the Products tab of your shopping basket access account.

    Try the step below :
    1. Open iPhoto (iPhone can be plugged in but doesn't need to be)
    2. Click on Preferences, un the iPhoto pull down at the top of your desktop
    3. Click on the General tab and go to the bottom of the menu
    4. Change Connecting Camera Opens, to No application
5.Then iPhoto will recognize the iPhone, but it won't open up automatically.

To solve your problem, try the following steps :
    1. Connect your iPhone to your Mac
    2. Open iTunes
    3. In the sidebar of iTunes in the section entitled "Devices", select your iPhone.
    4. On the summary page for the iPhone, make sure there is a check in the checkbox next to "sync automatically when connected the iPhone."
