    Motorola QA4 Touchscreen Phone

It seems to me the official announcement of Motorola QA4 EVDO touchscreen slider must be coming real soon as that phone has appeared on Motorola’s site today. The Evoke will be a slider with 2.8? touch screen and a single button when closed and a numeric keypad when opened. The Phone measures 108 x 50.5 x 17.5 mm and weighs 128 grams.

Motorola hasn't exactly been doing that great a job keeping this one secret, but it looks like its QA4 handset is doing its best to make itself known, and it has now made its latest, still-not-official showing courtesy of the FCC. As you can see above, the phone looks quite a bit different than those earlier unofficial photos, but the actual specs remain largely unchanged, with it boasting what appears to be the same 2.8-inch touchscreen, along with a tri-band CDMA / EVDO radio, aGPS, Bluetooth 2.0, a camera (we're assuming the same 2-megapixels), and a microSD card slot for expansion. Somewhat interestingly, there's no indication of that rumored accelerometer in the user manual, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's not still tucked in there somewhere. Hopefully Motorola will clear that, and a whole lot more, up when it finally gets official with the handset, which we're guessing should be happening sooner rather than later.

he Motorola evoke QA4 come with a design similar to the Pre Palm for its rounded shape, but in this case, the slider has a normal alphanumeric keypad compensated by the virtual QWERTY keyboard that can be used in touch screen (probably with 240 x 400 pixels resolution).

The novelty is that it would also have A-GPS navigation and comes with support for widgets from weather and news, among others, and accelerometer. In turn, QA4 have the ability to synchronize with the accounts of Google Contacts.

    specifications :
    • Bluetooth A2DP
    • EVDO
    • MP3 Player
    • E-mail
    • IM
    • Voice Recognition
    • 2 MPX camera that records video
    • Card Support MicroSD / microSDHC
    • 108 x 50.5 x 17.5 mm
    • 128 grams

    hi,
Looks like a decent touch screen phone to me. I don't mind the number pad because I don't sms that much, nore do I need a data plan. Looks like a nice upgrade from my previous motoZ9.
