recover the data stored from 80GB iPod classic

my 80GB iPod classic has stop working ,,, So of course I repeatedly tried combining the Select Menu buttons for several seconds so. but there's nothing to do.

What you should know is that this is the second time I loose my iPod in the same way (still a chance it quits still under warranty), I always installed Rockbox on my iPod for not the use iTunes .

I think that Rockbox has to do with it because ultimately rockbox once installed, the iPod is longer standby ever (in fact when I actually shuts it off and not just watch which means that when I turn and I see the apple etc.).

I am going to replace it under my warranty but the problem here is that my data that I would like to recover . Someone would have an idea?

    Thanks for the reply .

I have exactly the same iPod, in black.

When I connect, I have the option External Hard Drive.

Limit, unless you have data outside of iTunes, I think you do not need to retrieve the data.

You branches your new iPod, you set iTunes as old and it goes like before you submit or almost.

You have already tried to connect an external hard drive without the plug on the course? not worked ...

So if the iPod does not turn it can not issue a priori data. The only solution which can limit the walk is to go through iTunes, but I do not see how.

    Hiiiiiiii
You can use ipod data recovery software to recover the data stored from the 80GB iPod Classic. The software provides very simple interface and recovers the files in just few minutes.
