Error Datestamp 3b7d855c at installation of Windows XP Pro

Lasts night, I was trying to install the Windows XP Pro on my computer as there was many of the issues with that which I needed to clear. Installing the Operating system was the only option for me. But when I was installing the Windows XP on my computer then it aborts the installation process and shows me the error as follows:
    STOP: 0X0000007E (0XC0000005, 0XF748E0BF, 0XF78DA208, 0XF78D9F08) pci.sys - Address F748E0BF base at F7487000, Datestamp 3b7d855c
I tried to install that many time but all the times it shows me the same error message. Can you please tell me that why it is showing me that message and how can it be solved. I will be thankful for all the replies on this.

I think that there are some additional hardware is connected to your computer and that is the reason that you are facing the problems like this. So se for any of such connection and if that is the case then you will have to disconnect that from your computer before installing the OS to your computer. I am not saying that this is the only problem with this but it can be considered as one of the possible reasons for this. I wish you will be out of the issue after this.

It is also possible that the Operating system CD that you are trying to use is faulty and that is the reason it shows you the error message instead of installing that. The first thing that you need to check is for the scratches and smudges on the disk. Other than this you can try to run that on some other computer to see if that is working there or not. If it is showing you the same thing over the other computer then it will make sure that the problem is with the CD and you will need to try a new CD for that.

There is possibility that the Optical drive which is installed I your computer is having some problem with it and so it cannot read the disc properly. Try to run some other CD on your optical drive and see if it can be detected with that. The problem can be with the lens of your optical drive. You can use some lens cleaner for your drive and clean the lens with that. Otherwise swap your optical drive with some other working drive and install the OS with help of that.

Faulty RAM can also cause the issue like this. You can test that form the Memtest86+ . You will have to download.iso to create a bootable cd. After that you will have to burn file by means of third-party burning software like an image, not like data. Then boot by means of media you prepared (you might require to modify the boot precedence within the BIOS in order that the optical drive is the initial boot device). The test will execute right away. Let the analysis run for an hour otherwise two. If you acquire some errors then replace your RAM.

Defective hard disk. Test with a diagnostic utility downloaded from the mftr unit. 'S web site. Will create a bootable CD with the file downloads. Save the file with third-party burning software as an image, not data. Boot with the CD you made and make a thorough test drive. If it fails any physical tests, replace it.
