You can do this quite easily, you should always ask a person which is using a computer and have some knowledge about the same. Well you can do it viewing a folder in your windows explorer or libraries, Music view, select Details as view. After selecting a detail as view then right click on the area on top where you have Name, file size etc. you’ll see a pop list and you can select from the list which attribute you want to show under the detail view for each file like album, artist. You have to put a check mark for each one.

I think it depends on the media player which you are using in your system. if you are using a media player 12 then, I think there are no disc number attribute in media player 12. If you are using some different media player then you can add the ‘disc number ‘ to a column in a song folder. If you don’t have any other media player than 12 then you can download the media player 11 from the internet. You can search for free download for this software or you can also download this from Microsoft sites.

You can add the disc number column to a folder which contains a songs. You have to follow some steps to do that:
-- first open the folder which contains disc files.
-- move the files into separate folders
--for disc 1 to folder disc 1, for disc 2 to folder disc 2
After that open the folder and highlight all files. Click more details at the bottom that identifies CD type(disc 1) and then do the same for the others.

This is really very easy, you have to right click the blank area while viewing your file. However over view and then select details. You can see the set of columns across the top, you can see (name, #, title, artist). After this right click in area and then select ’more..’ scroll down to ‘part of set’ and tick the box, click ok and you’re done. Try this it may work for you. If this not works for you then try download some new windows media player. Windows media player 12 does’nt have disc number attribute.
