Windows 7: Unable to remove folders because explorer locks thumbs.db

Hello friends, I am here facing the big bug in Windows 7 that when I am browsing a folder on the network and screening different sub folders inside it. If I browse into a folder that have images and then right away back out of the folder, and then pursue that with an effort to remove the folder, I will have the following difficulty: "The action can't be finished for the reason that the file is open in Windows Explorer. Close the file and try again." "Thumbs.db”. I believe that the Explorer is creating the thumbs.db file or accessing it and it is locking that file so while i back out of it and then effort to remove the folder, "thumbs.db" it is still locked and as a result the folder can't be removed. I suppose that the bug is in fact that the Explorer doesn't shut the file down or unlock it. Please help me to delete the folder.

I propose you to perform the subsequent steps to verify the outcome: 1. initially you should have to boot it in to the Safe Mode for check. 2. Now you will have to Turn off Caching of Thumbnails in Hidden thumbs.db Files. 3) After that click the Start orb. 4) in to the search box type the keyword gpedit.msc in and then press Enter. 5) Enlarge User Configuration, in that select the option Administrative Templates and now click to the Windows Components. 6) Hit it off on Windows Explorer.7) Select and Right-click the option "Turn off the caching of thumbnails in hidden thumbs.db files" and select Edit. 8) Enable the setting. Wish it assists to you.

Try to perform these steps: at the starting close all the application that is been is running. Then Press Alt + F, from the Windows 7 Explorer interface. Choose Tools options. After that choose Folder Options. From the certain tabs Choose the View tab. You will get the check box that says "Always show icons, never thumbnails", check it. This appears to me that it will repair the problem. So it look likes this feature is creating problem and this feature is enabled by default.

As per my suggestion you should try to do this: 1. Go at the Start button from the desktop and from that go at the Run option and type gpedit.msc and hit enter. 2. Now you Navigate the pointer to Local Computer Policy, from that you should have to select the option User Configuration, now click Windows Components, lastly have a click to the Windows Explorer. 3. Locate "Turn off the display of thumbnails and only display icons on network folders" to Enable.
