Sidewinder X6 Keyboard Volume Rocker problem in Windows 7

I have a Sidewinder X6 keyboard that I am presently using with Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. The keyboard works well and I have the drivers installed correctly and the whole thing apart from the volume rocker is not really controlling the volume any longer. I searched the internet for this problem and it seems pretty ordinary going to Windows 7 (the problem did not present with my prior Windows Vista installation) and I attempted numerous fixes that were explained. However, not anything has worked and I am out of thoughts. Does anyone have the solution for this post then please reply to my post.

Re: Sidewinder X6 Keyboard Volume Rocker problem in Windows 7

I have a big trouble with my Sidewinder X6 keyboard. The volume knob won't work in genuine time previously I install the Intel-Type Pro software. Without the software, it works with no issues, so It can't be hardware related...?
I have experienced in this in windows XP, where there wasn't any troubles. Also tested in RC and RTM editions of Windows 7 and equally have this issue. When revolving the handle quickly, it takes numerous seconds for the volume to rise or to decline. This is more than irritating. with no the software the knob works in genuine time? If anyone has the solution for this quote then reply me soon.

    • First select the start menu then go to control panel and then select hardware and sound in that go to manage audio devices:
    • select the playback device (in my case the tool is "speakers") and select the properties,
    • Select the "advanced" tab,
    • uncheck the "Permit applications to take restricted control of this tool"
    • Verify with "Apply". And then select OK.
    • now try to revolve the volume rocker.
