    Nvidia chipset 680i doesn’t accept Windows 7

Hello friends, is there any kind of solutions with the nvidia 680i chipset yet? - when I installed win7 I got a triple boot with XP pro, Vista business and Win7, it disabled all my Nvidia Ethernet driver and every additional drivers on my motherboard - ALSO in XP and Vista, I don’t identify how it’s possible but it did it and my computer is still having troubles and I have formatted all drives 3 times - after 2 tries with installing Win7. Is it just impossible to install Windows 7 on that chipset and are there other with the same crisis, I have reinstall bios which was updated one many times before my computer was running just a bit like before. Any idea

I have the trouble resolved: First Turn your Personal Computer from Power Connector. (30-60Sek), now at BIOS disable one LAN card. The other LAN Card will remain unchanged, after performing it start windows 7 and now Windows will find out the one LAN Card and you can install the drivers.

I had found a fix for this problem: first shut down your computer from the main, after it then power p the system and also make sure enabled it in the BIOS, now boot it into the Windows 7. After that download nforce 15.25 or 15.26. We need Ethernet drivers version 67.8.9, then unpack exe into directories (default is C:\nvidia), go to the control panel and open the deice manager and browse to the network adapters, go to the properties on the network controller and update driver. Also do the same for the do the same for other network controller. The network fixed and no more hooding tricks with missing controllers. I thought it was my hard disk fault, I have the latest bios and now i see that there is a problem with the chip set.

I went into the device manager from control panel and uninstall the nvidia network adapter and then click on to remove drivers. Then I did scan for new changes and it reloaded the network adapter with I guess Microsoft driver cause now it only says Nvidia network controller and not "nvidia nforce ethernet 10/100 controller". I memorize somewhere a way back that there was a way of changing somewhat in the properties, cause with Comcast too many packets were being sent and the controller was getting puzzled and didn’t know what to do, this is what I remember from researching the trouble a few years ago with vista. Thought by now the problem would be solved in windows 7 that’s why I installed the nvidia drivers to begin with. It seems to me that the NVIDIA nForce driver’s development team has forgotten to place the nForce4 Intel Edition DeviceID's into the INF files.
