Windows Vista & Canon 20D problems

I am also facing problem regarding the download which I have done regarding the windows vista. In this the whole thing is going to work excluding for my Canon 20D. The problem is that windows vista is not able to recognize it when I used to plug this Canon 20D in. And also it turned on it. And it is not mentioned on the My Computer screen. So to solve this I have gone to canon.com and downloaded what it told me download. And one more trouble is there which is I am facing in that when I plug in the camera and turn it on then it scans the “boots up” my scanner toolbox. And in that the option it given is copying &scanning and there is no any type of opening camera option is there. Can anybody help me?

Actually like you regarding this I have also face this issue but around four months back and then one of my friend help me regarding this so after trying his solution my problem get fixed. Here I want to ask you that when you are facing this issue then for solving it have you ever tried EOS 20D USB WIA driver 6.0.0 which is for the Windows Vista so you try this I hope it will fix your issue.

I have solution of this I hope it will work in your case because one of my friend get benefited through this method. You just set the D20 camera transportation setting on PTP as a substitute of NORMAL. So after doing this I think your windows vista will be able to identify the Vista will then recognize it as a device and give you additional options intended for preliminary up move software.

Yes I have also read that reply which is posted by many of the users And in the last reply I have seen that the answer which is given by him actually it is really fine because I have also face this issue but like some month back and from one o the forum site I get the answer and same answer is given by him also. So I think you have to try that solution which is given by one of the user.

You are the guy. It works. You have no plan how grateful I am that you resolved this trouble for me. Why do not those Canon punks immediately put this fast fix on their dim website and help a girl out? In its place they let hundreds almost certainly thousands of populace experience with this dense Vista product! Anyhow, you should allege for this fix and you would be rich!

Thanks guys, actually when I have seen your post then I think it will not that much help me but then I have search it on the website of by getting the link from Google it is also quite good but I am very much impressed by your answer.
