Where to get a tiger dock skin for Snow Leopard

Hi,
I am using Snow Leopard right now. I am looking for a skin which can make the dock on the desktop look like Tiger. I had tried to get some ready made skins but nothing looks like Tiger. It gives a different look entirely. Does there is any specific hack for that. I had tried to search on Google about this stuff but it does not work. I need a tool similar to desktop terminal hack. Thanks.

I am not sure about this but the most easiet way here is to use ClearDock. A very nice easy to use tool which offers instant dragging of widgets directly on the desktop. You can then try Terminal Hack for doing much more modification. There is no specific theme or tool related to Dock only. If you look you might get a desktop customization software which will offer you further support.

The same what you are taking about is possible in tiger. The dock skin can be modified to OS X. There are some more ready to use skins and icons which you can search on internet. The reflection thing in Leopard is not actually possible while using up some 3d icons or skinned dock. You can search for a full Tiger theme for Leopard which can offers you some similarity.

That is right. Similarity is possible but not the exact same dock which you got in older version of Mac. You can download some applications for mac which offers you to customize the desktop manually. You can add up MenuShade, Overflow, etc properly and control the desktop also. Add a similar Tiger wallpaper there and apply the theme which can give a similar look.

Try Virtual Desktop tool. I am using to to customize and control my Desktop. You can not only add themes and icons on the desktop but design everything in your own way. It is possible with the application. This is a nice tool for desktop customization in Mac. There are many other tools which provides you a similar output on your system. But a virtual desktop is quiet an easier one.

I am using Skin a Dock tool. This will give you a similar skin to Mac OS X. With this you can not only add the skins but also you can manage the visual styles and design your own way of working on Mac. The tool is free for download and it is very lite in usage. You can get the new version which comes with some fixes making it to work much stable on Mac.

Search for Tiger Dock on internet. You will get a dock application which will change the look of your existing dock to Tiger. It is a nice tool. You just need to add the application in the System/Library/CoreServices and done. Reboot your system and see your current dock changes to what you have in Tiger. It is nice to use and less buggy also.
