lines on laptop screen after windows 7 install

Hi Friends,

I am having dell laptop from three months. I have currently installed windows 7 on my laptop, previously I had windows XP over it. But after installation of windows 7, there are some weird lines appears on my laptop screen. I didn't get this issue when I was using windows XP. I don't how to resolve this issue. If anyone posses proper solution over this issue, then please try to share it me. I would appreciate your help.

According to you have not installed the display display driver and because of that you are getting some problem with your laptop screen. I suggest you to download display driver for your laptop compatible with your windows 7. Then installed it on your laptop and then restart you laptop. Hopefully this will resolve your laptop screen issue.

It seems that you have not properly installed windows 7 on your laptop. That causes problem to your laptop. I suggest you to reinstall your windows 7 operating system. Then check if your problem get solved or not. Before that you can try to configure the display properties of your dell laptop as it can make also difference.

I am having dell laptop and getting same problem after installation of windows 7. I have installed VGA driver as well as configured the display setting of my laptop. But still weird lines appearing on my screen. I am not getting how to resolve this issue. Does anyone know solution other than these? if yes, then please let me know that.

It sounds that you dell laptop is having some hardware problem. And I don't think that this display problem can be easily solved. According to me the better way to resolve this screen problem is to contact the nearest service center of your laptop. If you laptop is under warranty period then you won't be get charged at service center.

Two possibilities can be happens to your Laptop. One is internal and another is external. If the visual driver is not properly installed or not supported then this can be happens. Or if your laptop have some hardware problem hen also this kind of problem happened. So check all the things first.

I think you need to try with following solutions:

• Check the display setting of your laptop.
• Make sure that display driver is installed properly.
• If all above doesn't work then take help from laptop hardware expert

There must be some problem in display drivers of your laptop. If you want to resolve this issue, for that you need to uninstall current display driver and reinstall it with new setup file. If this doesn't helpful for you then then ultimate way to resolve this problem is to replace this faulty laptop. Other than this I don't know any solution over this issue.
