Vdbench 5.02 application is not able to work with Windows 7

Hello. I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows 7 operating system. I have installed an application that is Vdbench 5.02 and it is not been able to function under Windows 7. I do not why as it was able to work with Windows Xp. Please help me out so that I can make the thing to work out properly. Thank you.

The application that is been installed may not be able to work with Windows 7. The reason is that the application may not have the addon or the feature that would allow to support the same. You need to check out for the features or the minimum system requirements for the application that would then help you out in making the things to work out properly.

There can be a possibility that the application would work out only when the issue is not related with the installer file. It can be that the installer file that you have used in order to make the application to get installed is not able to function appropriately. It is necessary that the application installer should be proper as it would not then allow to make the things to work.

You need to scan the system. It may be that the application is been affected by a virus and hence you are not able to work with the same. It is necessary that the system should be virus free as it may sometimes do not allow the application to perform certain actions that it needs to. Use Quick heal antivirus application. It may then allow you to detect the threat and make the system to work then.

You need to perform a clean boot service. It may be that the features and the services that is been installed is the reason for the problem. Follow the steps as given below:

1) Click on the start button.
2) Now type msconfig in the searchbox and hit enter.
3) Under the selective startup tab choose Hide all Microsoft services.
4) Disable the services.
5) Restart the system.

Now look out for the change.

Try executing the application under safe mode. This would then allow you to work with the same. This is because the application can be installed under safe mode option and work out with the same accordingly as safe mode option do not have highly sophisticated embedded features that would not allow to use the same. So try installing the application under safe mode and then look out for the change.
