A wireless network can make your computer more relaxing. The initial step which is setting up a wireless network . You will need two network components: one which is a wireless router and another one which is a wireless network adapter. After choosing the network equipment connect & configure wireless router & finally connect your computer to wireless network.

There are four important steps to set up your home wireless network

    1. Choose your wireless equipment
The first step is to make sure that what exactly equipment you need you can choose equipment that supports three different wireless networking technologies: 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g.

    2. Connect your wireless router
First, locate your cable modem , after that connect your wireless router to your modem.your modem directly connected to internet.at the end your computer will wirelessly connect to your router , and router will send communications through your modem to the internet

    3. Configure your wireless router
Temporarily connect your computer to one of the network ports. any port that isn't labeled INTERNET,WAN,or WIRELESS-LAN

    4. Connect your computers to the wireless network
In case of desktop computer if your computer does not have wireless network supports, then plug your network adapter into your USB port& place the antenna on tpo of your computer or in case of laptop, insert the network adapter into an empty pc card slot.

the first step to setting up a wireless network is to make sure you have the equipment you need. two network components:
a wireless router and a wireless network adapter.

    • wireless router: converts the signals coming across your internet connection into a wireless broadcast.
    • wireless network adapter: connects your computer to your wireless router.

    Connecting your wireless router:
First located your cable modem. If you connect your modem to the wall in similar way connect to tv to your cable television outlet and a coaxial cable connected to it. Iif you connected your modem through the phone lines, same way phone cable connected to it

    Connectin router to modem:
If your computer connected to modem:
Unplug the network cable from the backside your computer, and plug it into the port labeledlike Internet, WAN, or Wireless-LAN on the back of your router

If you don't havecomputer connected to the internet:
One end connected to modem & other end connected to internet, wan,or wireless lan

    Configure your wireless router
You don't have a router that supports Windows Connection that time need of manually configure your router:

1-using the network cable that came with wireless router,
connect computer to ports of your wireless router labeled like internet,wan,wireless-lan
2-turn on computer,it will automatically connect to router
3-Open Microsoft Internet Explorer and type in the address to configure your router

    connect your computers & devices
If your computer does not have wireless network supporter, then you can install a wired or a wireless network adapter
