My DVD Maker is having problems in Windows 7

I have recently upgraded my system from Windows XP SP3 to Windows 7. The problem is that My DVD Maker is having problems in Windows 7. The installation had been completed without any problems. When I run the application, it is giving the message as: "This program is incompatible with this operating system". I cannot understand why this is happening. Please help me with suitable solutions.

My DVD Maker supports the following operating systems:

1. Windows 95
2. Windows 98
3. Windows XP

It has an additional requirement of Directx 9. My DVD Maker is having problems in Windows 7, may be simply because it is incompatible with the operating system.

I suggest you to use the hardware and software evaluation tool, that will show all the incompatible programs in the operating system. You can then search for the alternatives and complements that are available in the market for all the incompatibilities.

I suggest you to use the RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR if My DVD Maker is having problems in Windows 7. This option mostly runs all the incompatible programs and applications in Windows 7. There is another option, that is to run the application in the compatibility mode. You can get into this mode by right-clicking on this option.
