I have this doubt in my mind. I know it is silly but just wanted to confirm it as I am new to this computers and I don't want to mess up with my computer because of any silly issue. Is it easy to remove Windows 7. Currently I am using Windows 7 Ultimate edition and I am planning to reinstall Windows 7 on my system. So can some one please guide me with the steps to remove it properly without any problem.

Well thats completely fine that you need help in uninstalling windows but then for that you need to have the Windows 7 DVD with you. And that DVD should be bootable. So that you will be remove Windows 7 with the help of that DVD and then reinstall it with the same DVD and it is very easy, and all the steps are explained of how to uninstall and then reinstall it. So it is very much easier.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I knew the process but just wanted to reconfirm it. And I will have to format my computer first before installing a new fresh copy of Windows 7. And I have heard that there is another way to uninstall it through some Windows PE. Is any one aware about it. Can some one please give some detail information on this.

Yes you are right there is another internal way to uninstall Windows. But it is available only in Windows 7.
Windows 7 comes with a built-in uninstall command, but for that you have to use Windows PE.
You have to insert your PE or windows 7 disk and then press shift + f10 to open up Command Prompt. And then type the following command.
    diskpart
    select disk # (0-9)
And then run the following command for every disk 0-9:
    clean
so disk 0 would be diskpart > select disk 0 > clean
That is it, and now just do it for the rest of the disks on your computer
and Windows 7 will be uninstalled and you will have a clean box to reinstall Windows.
