Safari and Adium togather freezes Mac and i have to reboot my system. I have a MacBook Pro and i dont know what os wrong with it. Please help me out. When i have safari running and i start adium my system will freeze and i will be only have a beach ball mouse which is operational. Similarly if i have adium running and i start safari same thing happens. Has anybody got this kind of problem on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard?

I would recommed you to uninstall Adium and reinstall. Check if that works, If it doesn't work then you may try updating Safari and Adium. This should work. Are you sure only these softwares togather cause problem or any two software running at a time causes this? I hope the solution works for you. Strange problem indeed. By the way which version of Adium do you use? I think it may be worth updating as i previously suggested...

I have the latest version of Adium and Safari doesn't have have anymore recent version then mine too. What else could be the culprit? I think its adium. Well i have already tried uninstalling Adium and reinstalling it. But that doesn't help too. I version which i have is Adium 1.4b17. Is this any useful?

In the version if "b" is included then thats where the problem is. "b" stands for beta versions. Beta means testing versions which are not bug free for problem free. If you use a beta software you are obvious to get problems. Also there might be some adium plugin for safari which might also be the cause of the problem.
