Adium is an instant messaging software that many Mac owners appreciate. It is multi-protocol, ie it manages many communication networks, including: MSN, ICQ, AIM, Yahoo, Gmail / Jabber, etc.. The new version 1.3.3 corrects several problems, including some that could affect communication with the connected Facebook.
It is also a feature introduced in the 1.3.x branch of the software. It indicates the IDs of his Facebook account, and then we can talk with his contacts, as if it was on the site. With the previous version, problems were presented, especially when you open Safari effectively to go on Facebook. The messages could then be difficult to pass.
Many corrections have been made everywhere, including MSN and offline messages, and icons for contacts that do not appear ill or if they had migrated in Live Messenger 2009. Such concern is corrected by the passage of the libpurple library of version 2.5.2 to 2.5.5. The change allows to get rid of other malfunctions identified in ICQ, as well as My Space.
