Windows Explorer problem...

I keep having i problem with windows. I'm using Windows Vista and at times it will randomly start failing, it won't let me click start, only the outline of the start menu will appear. The tabs on my explorer bar will all shift along, sometimes out of site, alot of icons will disappear. The only thing that seems to solve it is clicking everywhere, right clicking the background and the explorer bar. Then windows explorer has encountered a problem will appear and if i restart it, it will be fine. This is happening every hour or so.

Anybody else had this problem and know how to fix it?

Hi...
You make a Computer load from DVD in a different place to the choices that you get at F8.With so many problems, my advice would be to do a clean reinstall of Vista.I'll give you ways to try to remove Malware/spyware; but you will probably have to be able to access Startup Options from F8 to do this work...Thanks
